Product Info
Softstart is a tungsten halogen lamp holder that prevents the cold lamp start-up surge from activating the over-current protection circuits within Li-Ion batteries. The lamp illuminates slowly and achieves full brightness in a matter of seconds. Softstart is recommended for use when powering the Paglight from Li-Ion batteries in every situation except when using the lamp output on a Sony camera, which already incorporates this feature. In this case a standard halogen lamp holder is required. Paglight is the ultimate TV News camera top-light. No other camera top-light matches the performance or versatility of the Paglight system. Its unique patented design allows LED, tungsten halogen and HMI arc lighting technologies to be used with the same lamp head.
