60W transformer kit is used with 90Hz butterworth 24dB/octave active high-pass filter inserted in the signal chain at the input to the driving amplifier. This filter protects the amplifier from damage caused by transformer saturation at low frequencies and allows any number of transformers to be driven on the same line up to the rated power of the amplifier.
