The D800-Dante's network interface connects directly to an existing Dante audio network. Sixty-four channels from Dante are routed to the Aviom Personal Mixers, and each A360 can select its own mix channels from that network. (Note that A-16II and A-16R Personal Mixers can use only channels 1-16.) The D800-Dante includes a standard Pro16e output, which outputs a 64-channel A-Net stream comprised of the audio channels from the Dante network. This stream can be passed to any Pro16 or Pro16e device (standard Pro16 devices can utilize only channels 1-16), including a standard D800, which can be used for connecting additional Aviom Personal Mixers. Like the standard D800, the D800-Dante includes support for Network Mix Back™, Ethernet for iOS devices, and seamless integration of both A360 and A-16II Personal Mixers. For more information on these features, refer to the D800 A-Net Distributor.
