Analog line-level audio input module connected to TRS inputs on AN-16/i v.2 is converted to digital and transmitted via Pro16 version of A-Net over Cat-5e cable to personal mixers or Pro16 output devices. AN-16/i v.2 can also generate enhanced version of Pro16 A-Net, Pro16e, required for use with A360 personal mixer when second Pro16 input device is connected to its A-Net In jack. AN-16/i v.2 merges its analog inputs with incoming A-Net stream, creating expanded Pro16e digital audio stream. Four slot range switches allow each AN-16/i v.2 in system to be assigned to one of four slot ranges supported by Pro16e protocol, increasing total audio sources available to personal mixing system to 64.
